RYA Personal Watercraft Instructor Course Delivered Onboard
The RYA Jet Ski Instructor Course delivered onboard super yachts.
The three day course that builds upon existing jet ski experience and aims to teach the necessary skills and techniques to develop learners into fully competent jet ski instructors.
Personal Watercraft (PW) Instructors are experienced personal watercraft drivers that have been trained and assessed to run the following RYA Courses:
- The Personal Watercraft Proficiency Course
- The Introduction to Personal Watercraft Safety course (which is for guests on Superyacht charter holidays and ski riders alike).
This three day course is run by an RYA Personal Watercraft Trainer and assessed by an independent Trainer with a moderation on the third day.
Onboard crew training in for RYA Personal Watercraft Instructor onboard super yachts.
Onboard Super Yacht RYA PWC Instructor Course
The 3 day RYA Personal Water Craft Instructor Course and 1 day RYA PWC proficiency course can be delivered to you or the crew, onboard your yacht privately.

Superyacht RYA Jet Ski Instructor Course Prerequisites
Crew are required to hold a valid first aid qualifications recognised by the RYA. We recommended the RYA First Aid, or STCW Medical First aid qualifications. RYA membership is also a requirement.
In addition to the above requirements, applicants must be experienced in driving personal watercraft before joining this course.
Hold the RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency Completion Certificate. This can be arranged to be delivered on board the yacht.
