Practical and aesthetically pleasing

We were approached by the owners of this well maintained HR36 and asked to install new coachroof winch and jammer system for the in-mast fuller control line. To allow the continuous furling line to get back to the winch, a new watertight rope gland needed to be installed, but it also needed to look good and work well. 

With some help form CAD and CNC milling we produced two custom 316 stainless rope glands that keep the waves out of the cockpit. The winches and jammers were also installed in such a way to prevent the deck and teak cover board from compressing with the forces involved in winching.
